DAY 1
Stranded on a mysterious planet, Adam Strange is trying to fix a spaceship because of Animal Man's warning about some creature on the planet with them. Starfire and Animal Man are no help fixing the ship because the fruit they've been eating has left them in a drugged state.
DAY 2
Renee Montoya is trying to figure out what was happening at 520 Kane St. when she sees a news item for the Kane family who own most of the businesses in that area. She is a former friend/lover of the Kane daughter, Kathy.
DAY 3
Booster Gold receives a visit from Ralph Dibny, who is looking for help with the Superboy cult. Booster has no time for him because he has to go stop a riot that he has advanced warning about (since he is from the future). Ralph, remembering Booster is from the 25th century, assaults him, wondering why he didn't tell Ralph that his wife was going to die. Booster denies knowing it was going to happen, not being a student of history. Ralph is ashamed of Booster's selfish attitude. Booster travels to Lexcorp to put out a fire. There is a large crowd there because Lex Luthor was accepting volunteers for his metagene program. While Booster is talking to Lois Lane, the actor he hired last week to play a super villain shows up because the cheque he was given by Booster bounced. He tells all the reporters present what Booster had done by hiring him to make Booster look good. Ralph Dibny joins in by publicly denouncing Booster.
Montoya travels to the Kane estate where a party is being held. She gets in to see Kathy (Kate) but their meeting is tense due to their past relationship and the circumstances of their last meeting. Kate agrees to investigate the building at 520 Kane St. for Montoya.
Back in outer space, Starfire has gone flying to clear her head when she discoves a giant weapon sticking out of the ground. Unseen behind her, a giant is reaching for the weapon.
In the History of the DCU part 6, Zero Hour is covered. This was an attempt by the villain Extant to erase time to create a new reality. Golden age heroes Atom, Hourman, and Dr. Mid-nite all died in this crisis. It was revealed the true villain behind Extant was Hal Jordan as Parallax. He was stopped and the timestream saved by a large group of heroes.
