As Jimmy Olsen, as a turtle-man, takes on Darkseid, other heroes help evacuate civilians and deal with the damage.

Ray Palmer, who is inside Jimmy's head, successfully finds the device that Darkseid was going to use to take the power of the New Gods he was storing inside Jimmy. Atom reappears with the device and destroys it in front of Darkseid. This drives Darkseid mad but before he can take revenge on Palmer a boom tube appears and out of it comes Orion.

Orion and Darkseid begin their prophesied final battle which results in the death of Darkseid.
